Blue Tone Boy *Roy J Hale * was born and raised in Hackney, East London. From the day of his birth he knew he wanted to create music, by the time he was 2 years old he owned his first record deck and would be fascinated when the record sitting on the deck would spin around and make all kinds of sounds. Having had the early opportunity to own music and also appreciate music in many forms as a youngster this early opening of music to Blue Tone's ears would set him on a course of magical beat making for the rest of his life!
Blue Tone boy was brought up on many varied soundscapes from reggae roots and dub, to rock n roll disco pop electro house music techno break beat which all made the foundations for the making of Blue Tone Boy concepts of music production. Some people realized when Blue was growing up that his easy ability to make rhythms was something that would make people comment on, and to Blue this was part of the course of his musical life which was in part to express his musical creations to all he made contact with. Blue started Djing in Hackney East London at the age of 14, he played out with 2 Sound Systems at the time and would be seen rocking the SL1200s at blues parties and block parties ( oh the glory days !!! ) where people would check out his mixing and scratching and would dig the tunes he would bring to the party...Blue was known to be one of the very DJs to bring the sound of Acid House music to London with the incredible promo tune his was given one day whilst out buying his imports for the parties..that tune being Sleazy D " I've Lost Control "...people at the parties would be in a state of shock when this dropped...the rest is history as far as Acid House ism concered....you like Acid House ...check the FREE Downloads B.T.B.
